V0.5.9 & Things To Come

Greetings!

To those tuning in yet again, I bid you a returning welcome.

Today, I would like to discuss the state Warfare finds itself in, and what this means going forward. As you may have gathered, this new release is of version 0.5.9, rather than 0.6, and you may be asking yourself why this is.

GOOD NEWS; it's because that's the version name 🗿

In all actuality, V0.5.9 is a previous candidate for V0.6 I recently uncovered due to popular demand, and contains the following features:

- 3X performance while looking just as good

-  A new dynamic laser-placing ability for Engineers

- Further bug patching

- Hints of what's to come(?)

While this version took an absurdly long period of time to produce, I feel it is too similar to V0.5 to pass up as a new version, hence, it sticks with the 0.5 'branch' of updates, however, it is NOT over for Warfare.

The past month has consisted of me cooking on V0.6, which I must say is coming along rather swimmingly. This update will have you bamboozled as you aim to navigate the once barren rainforests and industrial expanses passed off as a game in versions past. No longer will there be one way of doing Warfare, but a whole host of 'options' with their own challenges and benefits to uncover, as well as a few new potential threats.

In summary, V0.6 in comparison to V0.5.9 will be what V0.4 was to the initial release, and is a huge leap forward to a beta release.

As for why this secretive build has not yet seen the light of day; it is somewhat cooked.  All new areas of gameplay require refinement, and as such this build is not yet ready for presentation.

However, it's not over. I've attached a few yummy screenshots from the upcoming build for you to feast upon. Now, you likely will not hear from me for another month or so. I ask you all to stay safe, and above all not to die.

Stay fruity,

- Me
